Third Winnipeg Production November 5th, 2011
Danny Schur's musical comedy, The Perogy Supper Miracle returns to Winnipeg on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 - for one show only, in support of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Provincial Council.
Originally conceived as a one-off in support of Winnipeg's Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, The Perogy Supper Miracle has proven itself a hit of unlikely proportions, with numerous productions across Canada. With its blend of comedy, original music and inspirational story, the tale of a parish threatened by the potential cancellation of its perogy supper fundraisers has struck a chord.

Taras Luchak to Star as The Priest
The Perogy Supper Miracle is thrilled to welcome Taras Luchak to the role of The Priest (originally written for Father Mark Gnutel, pictured above). A cherished, long-time member of the Ukrainian and arts community in Winnipeg, Taras is an accomplished singer, actor and master of ceremonies. His association with Danny Schur began in 2000 when he co-starred in Danny Schur's first musical "The Bridge" and continues through many roles in Schur's award-winning musical "Strike!".
The seven-person cast of the Perogy Supper Miracle also includes the very talented Sister Janet Kozak and members of Winnipeg's Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic church.
